In many situations, high manoeuvrability and short turn radius are vitally important elements in the performance of modern missiles. A Thrust Vector Control (TVC) system provides lateral forces at the rear end of the missile to accomplish this capability. Nammo has developed and is now manufacturing a high performance and lightweight TVC for IRIS-T, which has proven exceptional performance during flight-testing.
Nammo is also responsible for the development of a new TVC system for the EXOCET Block 3 Booster.
