Nammo enters into a sponsorship agreement with Norwegian Biathlon Association
Nammo and the Norwegian Biathlon Association have signed a 4-year sponsorship agreement, which makes Nammo one of the main sponsors of the woman national team in biathlon in Norway.
Nammo’s biathlon ammunition from Lapua is one of the best worldwide. More than 80 % of all medals won under the Olympics in Vancouver, were won with the Lapua biathlon ammunition.
Through Lapua brand, Nammo will be the primary supplier of ammunition to the national teams of the Norwegian Biathlon Association, and have a close cooperation towards the next Winter Olympics in Sotsji in 2014.
The cooperation between Nammo and the Norwegian Biathlon association also include an establishment of Lapua scholarship for young promising athletes.
With this agreement Nammo will make visible our focus on women and performance as well as learning about how to handle success. We want to profile Nammo in a broader way and we shall strive to establish a reputation of the company that our employees can be proud of.
