Election of a new Board member representing the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry
Thursday 9 December 2010, the owners of Nammo held an Extraordinary General Assembly to elect a new Board Member. The Extraordinary General Assembly unanimously elected Dag Jakob Opedal as a new Board Member of Nammo AS.
Dag Jakob Opedal (born 13 April 1959) is educated as siv.øk. from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (1983) and holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD (1987). After five years at Dyno Industrier he has worked for the Orkla Group since 1989, first at Nora Industrier as assisting director from 1989 to 1991 and CFO at Nora Foods from 1991 to 1994, then at Stabburet as CEO from 1994 to 1999. He became an executive in Orkla Foods and Orkla Brands in 2001, and CEO from 2005 – 2010.
