Nammo Buck
Nammo Buck GmbH in Pinnow is located in northeast Germany, approximately 100 km from Berlin and close to the Polish border.
The history of the industrial site in Pinnow started 60 years ago with an ammunition factory. From 1984 to 1986 a new factory was built to produce anti-tank rockets under Russian licence.
Nammo Buck became a part of the Nammo Group in 1999.
Today the ammunition disposal business have taken over the premises, which counts around 70 employees.
Since 1991, a large amount of missiles, rockets ammunition, mines, hand grenades, detonators and pyrotechnical material have been dismantled, detoxified, demilitarised and disposed off or recycled on the Nammo Buck premises.
One of the trademarks of the company is the expertise gained from the disposal of more than 420.000 rockets, more than 20.000 cluster bombs and MLRS bomblets. Our specially developed processes and equipment is state of the art. Development of disposal and dismantling technologies and design of equipments is mainly performed in-house. The heart of our ammunition disposal is the Thermal Treatment Plant 418, where explosives of all hazard classes can be disposed.
